I keep getting permission denied errors
They read for example

"Could not change directory to "Cedar_2008-11_11PB130013".
Server said:
CWD command failed. "/www/Trees/Cedar_files/Media/cedar_2008-11_PB130013".
Permission denied.

Error -125: remote chdir failed"

What is wrong? I suspect DHq doesnt like my file names that are generated by iWeb which I use to make my websites.

The problem seems to be related with changing file name to a different directory. E.g. if you have a file in a folder A:

\FolderA\FileName1

If you want to change it to:

\FolderB\FileName2

It seems our FTP server doesn't support it; you can do it in two steps: rename and move (or: move and rename). We will check and fix this problem later.

OK, please let me know when you have a solution. I am not sure that this is actually the problem. What happens is I drag across a folder to DHq (that is how my FTP interface works) DHq returns an permission denied error When I doubleclick on the folder it returns the same error So why should it do this?

What happens is I drag across a folder to DHq (that is how my FTP interface works) DHq returns an permission denied error When I doubleclick on the folder it returns the same error So why should it do this?

To continue A folder called Cedar_2008-11_PB130013 gives the error whereas a folder called PB200001 gets uploaded fine (with contents) Incidently changing the hyphen to an underline makes no difference. This suggests the problem is with the folder name.

Unfortunately we don't have iWeb here... if you could email us more detailed info to support @ drivehq.com, that will be great. We need detailed FTP log, both client and server log, i.e. we need to know what the FTP client sent to the FTP server, and what the FTP server responded to the FTP client.

As we checked the problem, it seems the problem has nothing to do with iWeb.

It is just that the destination folder doesn't exist. Please check why the folder was not created. You can also try to manually create the folder using DriveHQ.com website or any real FTP client software.
