Hi, it's not required to upgrade. As you know, it's a minor version upgrade. If the current version works fine now, then you probably don't need to upgrade. However, if you had experienced any problem, then it is recommended to upgrade as the bug(s) could have been fixed in this version.
You don't need to re-create the backup tasks after upgrade.
