In order to fight abuse, you must be a Paid Member or True Member to publish files / websites or create static links to files / folders.

To become a True Member, you must register your account with a company email address. Email addresses from an ISP are not elligible. (e.g. XXX@microsoft.com is fine, but XXX@hotmail.com is not valid); you can also deposit $3 into your DriveHQ account. To deposit, please logon www.drivehq.com, click on My Account --> Deposit.

A True Member is still a free-service member, which has a lot of other restrictions. It is recommended upgrading to premium service.
